Heritage Resources
Both tangible and intangible, a community’s heritage resources comprise the events, people and things that have made the community what it is. Intangibles include memories, ideas, traditions and knowledge relating to the people, events and lifeways that have shaped the community.
Particularly visible are buildings and other structures, which have value both for their aesthetic and technological qualities and for their associations with intangibles such as events, ideas or the lives of earlier generations.
